Given the growing crisis of the corona epidemic in India, the US has announced a ban on this visit to India from May 4.

On behalf of the US, it has been said that the government is banning travel from India on the advice of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). These days the number of corona cases in India is continuously increasing, and many variants of the virus are spreading there.

The ban on travel from India will start from May 4 and will continue till further orders. However, in the meantime, some people will be allowed to travel.

US citizens or permanent residents, their spouses, will be exempt from the ban.

In addition, human rights activists, researchers and health workers whose work has been linked to the coronavirus are categorised as an exception.

Other travellers in India for 14 days will not be able to go to America.

Adverse reports of the Corona Virus Test have been made mandatory for travellers who travel from India to the US after the ban.

Even if someone has got the vaccine installed, he/she will also have to show an unfavourable report of the test. This report must be made up to 72 hours before reaching the US.

Even after this, travellers will have to quarantine themselves after going to America and get another coronavirus test done within 3-5 days.

If someone’s ticket is already booked and does not fall under the exception category, they will not be allowed to enter the US after May 4.

United Airlines has said that it will refund the money of the people who have booked the tickets under the purview of the ban.

Let me tell you that only United Airlines operates direct flights between India and America apart from Air India.

America had issued an advisory for its citizens.

The United States issued an advisory to its citizens this week, advising them to leave India at the earliest and not travel to India at the earliest, given the current situation.

The highest level advisory issued by the US Department of Home Affairs said that new cases of corona in India and deaths due to this had reached record levels. Due to this, all types of medical aid have been limited.
