IPL 2021: Three team members of Chennai Super Kings found to be covid infected

In the Indian Premier League (IPL) current season, the coronavirus has started to wreak havoc. It is a matter of concern that people are getting corona infected even in leagues that are taking place in a bio-securitized environment.

Three people have been found corona infected in the team of Chennai Super Kings (CSK). It is a matter of relief that no players are presently among those found infected.

Three people found infected with the COVID-19 virus after Sunday’s investigation

According to a report, the team’s CEO Kashi Vishwanathan, bowling coach Laxmipathy Balaji and a bus cleaner have been infected. All the other members of the CSK team present in Delhi test negative.

On Monday morning, the three people who got infected have undergone a re-test so that they can avoid any false report. If they are found positive in this, they will have to remain in isolation for ten days.

CSK is scheduled to play their next match against Delhi Capitals on 05 May (Wednesday). According to the circumstances at present, this match will be according to its schedule.

The team played their last match on Saturday, and Balaji was present in the dugout during that match. If an infection is found in a player, there will be trouble for the next game.

CSK was affected by Coronavirus last year too

Last year too, CSK was strongly influenced by Coronavirus. Before starting the season, 13 people from his team were corona infected, including Deepak Chahar and Ruturaj Gaekwad.

While Chahar started playing from the first match of the season, Gaikwad also participated in the season. Last year, Kashi Vishwanathan’s wife was among those infected.

KKR vs RCB match postponed today

The Kolkata Knight Riders vs Royal Challengers Bangalore match scheduled for tonight has been postponed. Varun Chakraborty and Sandeep Warrier of KKR have been infected with Corona, so this Mukala has been delayed.

Akshar Patel of Delhi Capitals and Danielle Sams Corona of Royal Challengers Bangalore were infected before this season. Both players have recovered and are playing for their respective teams.
