The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is increasingly concerned about the current season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). In the last 24 hours, five corona infection cases have been reported, and two teams have gone into isolation.
The BCCI is constantly trying to keep the league going, but now they are under increasing pressure to postpone or cancel the league.
The petitioner made this demand.
The person filing the petition in the Bombay High Court has asked the High Court to direct the BCCI to postpone or cancel the IPL season. The person filing the petition says that the facilities being provided to the players can be used for the corona victims.
