In the last 24 hours in India, 3,62,727 new cases of infection with coronavirus were reported, and 4,120 patients died. After a three-day decline, a slight spurt in cases has been observed.
With this, the total number of infected people in the country has increased to 2,37,03,665. Of these, 2,58,317 people have lost their lives due to this dangerous virus.
The number of active cases has also increased to 37,10,525 after two days.
3.52 lakh patients recovered in the past
3,52,181 patients recovered across the country in the last 24 hours.
With this, the total number of patients recovering from the epidemic has been 1,97,34,823. The country’s recovery rate is 83.04 per cent.
Apart from this, 18,64,594 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours. Since the onset of the epidemic, 30.94 crore coronavirus tests have been done in the country.
These are the most affected states
52,26,710 people have been found infected, and 78,007 people have died in Maharashtra so far.
So far, 20,53,191 people have been infected and 20,368 deaths in Karnataka, the second most affected state.
Similarly, Kerala with 20,10,934 cases and 6,053 deaths and Tamil Nadu with 14,68,864 cases and 16,471 deaths are the next two most affected states.
How are the conditions of the most affected states?
Forty-six thousand seven hundred eighty-one people were found infected in Maharashtra on the previous day, while 816 patients died. The number of daily cases has been declining here for the last few days.
Similarly, in Karnataka, 39,998 people were found infected, and 517 patients died, while in Kerala, 43,529 cases were reported, and 95 deaths occurred.
In Tamil Nadu, 30,355 new cases were reported, and 293 patients died.
