Triumph Motorcycles has introduced the 2021 edition of their Speed Twin motorbike in India. It was introduced earlier this year.
The two-wheeler features a retro-inspired design and a twin-pod semi-digital instrument panel. It is powered by a BS6-compliant 1,200cc parallel-twin engine mated to a 6-speed transmission.
The bike is available in three different colours
The Triumph Speed Twin had a 14.5-liter petrol tank, an upswept exhaust, a flat-type seat with a ribbed pattern, and tapered handlebars with bar-end mirrors.
The motorbike is outfitted with a twin-pod semi-digital instrument cluster, all-LED lighting, and cast aluminium wheels.
It is available in three colours: Jet Black, Red Hopper, and Matte Storm Gray.
Powered by a 1,200cc engine with 99hp
The Triumph Speed Twin 2021 is powered by a BS6-compliant 1,200cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine mated to a 6-speed transmission. The mill has a maximum output of 98.6hp at 7,250rpm and a peak torque of 112Nm at 4,250rpm.
It has disc brakes on each wheel
The Triumph Speed Twin has disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels, as well as switchable traction control and dual-channel ABS, to assure the rider’s safety. There are three riding modes available as well: Rain, Road, and Sport.
The front suspension of the two-wheeler is handled by 43mm Marzocchi USD forks, while the rear suspension is handled by dual shock absorbers with adjustable preload.
Pricing and availability for the Triumph Speed Twin
The 2021 Triumph Speed Twin is priced at Rs. 10.99 lakh in India (ex-showroom). The retro-styled motorcycle comes with over 50 accessories and may be reserved through the brand’s dealerships.
