In 2022, India will return to England to play white-ball matches.
The ECB confirmed this on Wednesday when it announced the schedule for England’s home summer of 2022.
In July of next year, India and England will play three T20Is and as many ODIs.
In the summer, England will also host New Zealand and South Africa.
England and New Zealand will play three Tests
The summer schedule for England will begin with three Tests against New Zealand.
Notably, earlier this year, England welcomed New Zealand for two Tests.
This three-match series between the two teams will be part of the World Test Championship cycle 2021-23.
Lord’s (June 2-6), Trent Bridge (June 10-14), and Headingley will host the three matches (June 23-27).
In the early half of July, India will play in England
Following the completion of the three New Zealand Tests, England will welcome India for a white-ball leg.
The T20I series will begin on July 1 at Manchester’s Old Trafford.
The next two Twenty20 Internationals will be played at Trent Bridge and the Ageas Bowl (July 3 and 6).
The three One-Day Internationals will be played at Edgbaston (July 9), The Oval (July 12), and Lord’s (July 13). (July 14).
South Africa will play a full series in England
Following the India series, England will host South Africa.
The Proteas will play three One-Day Internationals (ODIs), three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is), and three Tests.
The three One-Day Internationals will be played at Riverside, Old Trafford, and Headingley.
The three Twenty20 Internationals will be played in Bristol, Sophia Gardens, and the Ageas Bowl.
The Test series will be played at Lord’s, Edgbaston, and The Oval.

“I am pleased to be able to confirm three high-quality men’s international touring teams for 2022, starting with a three-Test LV= Insurance Series against World Test Champions New Zealand,” said ECB chief executive Tom Harrison.
“We also look forward to India returning for two white-ball series before we host South Africa for what promises to be hard-fought series across formats, including three Tests.”
Edgbaston will host the Vitality Blast Finals Day in 2022
The ECB also revealed that the 2022 Vitality Blast Finals Day would take hosted on July 16 at Edgbaston. Meanwhile, the women’s home schedule, as well as the domestic seasons, will be released shortly.
