Novak Djokovic of Serbia has maintained his hopes of completing a Calendar Year Grand Slam alive by reaching the semi-finals of the 2021 US Open.

In three hours and 30 minutes, Djokovic defeated Matteo Berrettini 5-7, 6-2, 6-2, 6-3 at Arthur Ashe Stadium.

Djokovic dropped a set before winning handily for the fourth time in five matches this season.

Zverev defeats Harris to advance to the semi-finals

Alexander Zverev easily defeated Lloyd Harris in straight sets.

Last year’s finalist Zverev dominated the match, capturing the South African’s opening-service games in the second and third sets on his way to a 7-6(6), 6-3, 6-4 victory.

With this victory, Zverev has extended his winning run to 16 matches.
