Realme has introduced its newest 8s 5G and 8i smartphones in India, as well as its first tablet, the Realme Pad.
The smartphone line will be available on Flipkart and Realme’s official website for a starting price of Rs. 13,999.
The phones have a Full-HD+ LCD display, three back cameras, Dynamic RAM Expansion technology, and a 5,000mAh battery.
The phones have a fingerprint sensor on the side
The Realme 8s 5G and 8i include a punch-hole design with a fingerprint reader on the side.
The former has a 90Hz, 6.5-inch Full-HD+ (1080×2400 pixel) LCD screen and is available in Universe Purple and Universe Blue.
The latter sports a 6.6-inch Full-HD+ (1080×2400 pixel) LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz. It is available in the hues Space Purple and Space Black.
The phones come with a 16MP selfie camera
The Realme 8s 5G has a triple rear camera configuration that includes a 64MP (f/1.8) main snapper, a 2MP (f/2.4) monochrome sensor, and a 2MP (f/2.4) macro lens.
The Realme 8i has a similar camera configuration, but with a 50MP primary sensor.
The devices include a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
They boot Realme UI 2.0, which is based on Android 11
The MediaTek Dimensity 810 and MediaTek Helio G96 chipsets power the Realme 8s 5G and 8i, respectively, along with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of expandable storage.
They are powered by a 5,000mAh battery and operate on Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0.
The 8s 5G supports 33W fast charging, whilst the 8i supports 18W fast charging.
How much do they set you back?
The Realme 8s 5G costs Rs. 17,999 for the 6GB/128GB variant and Rs. 19,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant.
The 4GB/64GB Realme 8i costs Rs. 13,999 and the 6GB/128GB model costs Rs. 15,999.
They will be available for purchase on Flipkart and Realme India’s official websites beginning September 13 and 14, respectively.
Realme Pad: The Wi-Fi-only model starts at Rs. 13,999
The Realme Pad has an aluminium alloy chassis that is 6.9mm thin, a 10.4-inch WUXGA+ (2000×1200 pixels) LCD display, and an 82.5 percent screen-to-body ratio.
It weighs 440 grammes and comes in two colours: Real Gray and Realme Gold.
The gadget has an 8MP camera on both the front and back, as well as twin microphone noise cancellation capabilities.
A MediaTek Helio G80 CPU powers the tablet
The Realme Pad is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G80 processor, as well as up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
It is powered by an Android 11-based Realme UI for Pad and comes with a 7,100mAh battery with 18W fast-charging capability. It also features quad speakers that enable Dolby Atmos.
The tablet is available in two configurations: Wi-Fi-only and 4G+Wi-Fi.
