ASUS laptops with up to 4K OLED screens now on sale

ASUS’s latest Lingyao-series laptops, the Lingyao Pro 14 and Lingyao Pro 16, have been released in China.

The lineup has a starting price of CNY 6,999 (about Rs. 79,900) and is available for pre-order on the company’s official website.

The laptops are equipped with up to 4K OLED screens, AMD Ryzen 9 processors, and NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics.

The laptops are matte black in colour

The ASUS Lingyao 14 and 16 come with a matte black body with low bezels, an aluminium alloy chassis, a keyboard, and a standard trackpad.

The former has a 90Hz, 14.0-inch QHD+ (2880×1800 pixel) OLED display, while the latter has a 120Hz, 16.0-inch 4K (3840×2400 pixel) OLED display.

The pair features a 16:10 screen aspect ratio, HDR compatibility, and a colour gamut that is 100 percent DCI-P3.

They support  Wi-Fi 6 connection

Two USB 2.0 ports, a USB 3.2 Generation-1 Type-A and Type-C connector, an HDMI 1.4 slot, a microSD card reader, and a 2-in-1 audio jack are available on the ASUS Lingyao Pro 14 and Pro 16 models. They feature wireless communication through Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0.

They come with 512GB of SSD storage

The AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX processors power the ASUS Lingyao Pro 14 and Lingyao Pro 16.

The former is equipped with a 63Wh battery, whilst the latter is equipped with a 96Wh battery.

They have up to 4GB of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti GPU memory, AMD Radeon graphics, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and 512GB of SSD storage.

What is the price of the laptops?

The ASUS Lingyao Pro 14 is priced at CNY 6,999 (approximately Rs. 79,900) for the Ryzen 7 5800H model and CNY 7,699 (about Rs. 87,900) for the Ryzen 9 5900HX variant. The Ryzen 9 5900HX variant of the Lingyao Pro 16 costs CNY 8,999 (about Rs. 1,02,700).
