SKODA of the Czech Republic has upgraded the Style AT versions of its Kushaq SUV in India with six airbags and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).
The trims now carry Rs. 40,000 premium over their predecessors and start at Rs. 16.2 lakh. Their design and mechanicals, however, remain unaltered.
The vehicle sports a butterfly grille and LED headlights
The SKODA Kushaq has a muscular hood, a chrome-encased butterfly grille, elegant LED headlights with DRLs, and a large air vent.
Roof rails, blacked-out B-pillars, ORVMs, and 17-inch alloy wheels flank the sides. The rear end is accented with wrap-around LED taillights and a window wiper.
The specifications are as follows: 2,651mm wheelbase and 188mm ground clearance.
It is available with two engine options
The SKODA Kushaq is powered by a 1.0-liter, 3-cylinder TSI petrol engine with 113hp/178Nm and a 1.5-liter TSI engine with 148hp/250Nm. A 6-speed manual, a 6-speed torque converter automatic, and a 7-speed DSG gearbox handle transmission tasks.
There is an electric sunroof and a 10.0-inch infotainment console
The SKODA Kushaq offers a 5-seat interior with ambient lighting, ventilated seats, wireless charging, auto temperature control, an electric sunroof, and a multifunctional power steering wheel.
It has a 10.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
Six airbags, a rear-view camera, collision sensors, an engine immobilizer, and ABS with EBD keep passengers safe.
Pricing for the SKODA Kushaq
The SKODA KUSHAQ 1.0 Style AT costs Rs. 16.2 lakh in India, while the 1.5 Style AT costs Rs. 18 lakh. Meanwhile, the basic model is priced between Rs. 10.49 and Rs. 18.49 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom).
