Xiaomi Watch Color 2 goes official in China, features new AMOLED display

Xiaomi’s latest smartwatch, the Watch Color 2, has been released in China. It is the successor to the Watch Color model, which was introduced last year.

The wearable costs CNY 999 (about Rs. 11,400) and is presently available for pre-order.

In terms of essential features, the watch has an AMOLED display, a battery life of up to 12 days, and supports 117 sports modes.

The watch has over 200 different watch faces that may be customized

The Xiaomi Watch Color 2 has a sporty design that includes a circular dial, a metal bezel, and 5ATM water resistance.

The wearable has a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 60Hz, a pixel density of 326ppi, and over 200 configurable watch faces.

It comes with straps in white, black, and blue. Customers can, however, purchase Yellow, Green, and Orange straps individually.

It supports Bluetooth calling as well as NFC

The Xiaomi Watch Color 2 has a 470mAh battery that is said to last up to 12 days on a single charge. A magnetic charger takes roughly 2.5 hours to completely charge.

The wearable supports Bluetooth calling, Xiao AI virtual assistant, NFC, and a limited number of third-party Android apps. It’s also compatible with Apple’s iOS smartphones.

It includes 19 different professional sports modes

The Xiaomi Watch Color 2 has a PPG sensor to measure heart rate and a SpO2 sensor to assess blood oxygen levels.

It also monitors sleep and stress, tracks menstrual cycles, and provides breathing sessions.

There are 117 sports modes and 19 professional sports modes on the wearable. The built-in dual-frequency GNSS chip can track your workout activities.

Pricing and availability for the Xiaomi Watch Color 2

In China, the Xiaomi Watch Color 2 costs CNY 999 (about Rs. 11,400). It is presently available for pre-order and will be available for purchase on September 30. Customers who pre-order the smartwatch will receive a CNY 100 discount (roughly Rs. 1,140).
