Aryan Khan drugs case: NCB raids producer Imtiaz Khatri’s residence

Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, who was caught in a drug case at the cruise party, is still in the headlines. On October 8, the court had heard the bail of eight accused, including Aryan. After this, the court rejected his bail application.

Now the name of another personality has been added to this case. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has also raided the residence of film producer Imtiaz Khatri.

Raid on Imtiaz’s residence and office in Bandra

The NCB on Saturday raided the residence and office of producer Imtiaz in Mumbai’s Bandra area. According to the NCB, this raid has been done in connection with the cruise party drug case, in which the names of many people, including Aryan, are involved. NCB has alleged that Imtiaz is involved in this case. Imtiaz is the son of a famous builder of Mumbai. He has had a relationship with many Bollywood actors.

Imtiaz’s name was also involved in the Sushant Singh Rajput case

Imtiaz was also accused of supplying drugs in the Sushant Singh Rajput case. The detailed information related to the raid of NCB has not been revealed yet. NCB has so far arrested 18 people in the cruise ship drug case. ANI has also shared information in this regard.

Who is Imtiaz?

Imtiaz is the owner of a company called VVIP Universal Entertainment. He produced the Marathi film ‘Hridayantar’ in 2017. He was also in the news for his relationship with Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen.

Aryan has been taking drugs for almost four years – NCB

According to India Today, Aryan wept bitterly when he was being interrogated after being arrested by the NCB. Official sources in the NCB had told that Aryan kept crying during interrogation. During interrogation, it was also revealed that Aryan has been consuming drugs for almost four years. According to NCB sources, Aryan used to consume drugs outside India in the UK, Dubai, and other countries.

Aryan was arrested in the case on October 3

NCB had detained Aryan, Arbaaz Merchant, Munmun Dhamecha, Nupur Sarika, Ishmeet Singh, Mohak Jaiswal, Vikrant Chhonkar and Gomit Chopra from the rave party going on a cruise in Mumbai.

NCB had seized five grams MD of cocaine, 21 grams of charas, 22 tablets of MDM and Rs 1,33,000 in cash from Cruise. Aryan was arrested on 3 October. On 7 October, he was sent to judicial custody for 14 days.
