Hero MotoCorp on Monday (October 11) launched the Pleasure Plus X-tec scooter. This scooter has been introduced in two variants LX and XTec, which are priced at Rs 61,900 and Rs 69,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi), respectively. Hero Pleasure+ X-tec scooter has been brought with new design and feature updates.
Here are the new features
Talking about the new features, the Hero Pleasure+ XTec is the first scooter in the 110 cc segment to get LED projector headlamps. Apart from this, the scooter has been introduced in a new bright Jubilant Yellow colour, giving a great look to the scooter. Apart from this, features like the i3S start/stop system, semi-digital speedometer, Bluetooth connectivity, call and SMS alerts and side stand engine cutoff switch have been provided in the scooter.
Apart from this, the front fenders have been given in the scooter. The company has said that soon the new Pleasure + XTec will be made available at dealerships.
Engine
Hero Pleasure + XTec is powered by a 110cc BS6 engine that generates 8bhp power at 7000rpm and 8.7Nm of torque at 5500rpm. The company has used certified i3S technology to improve the mileage.
Hero MotoCorp has released its sales figures for September 2021. The company has sold a total of 5,30,000 units of two-wheelers in September 2021. Of these, 5,00,050 units were sold in the domestic market, while 25,000 bikes and scooters have been exported.

In September 2021, the company has sold a total of 4,89,417 units of bikes, while the sales of scooters were 40,929 units. In September last year, the company sold 7,15,718 units of bikes and scooters, while sales of 1,85,372 units have decreased in September this year. There was a decline of 25.90 per cent in sales as compared to September 2020.
However, the company has performed better in exports. The company has achieved a growth of 35.06 per cent in exports in September 2021 compared to September 2020. Hero increased the prices of all bike and scooter range models last week due to a hike in raw material and steel prices. Hero’s select bikes and scooters have now become expensive by up to Rs 3,000.
