Imaginary Friends, a fantasy comedy film starring John Krasinski and Ryan Reynolds, is in the works. Aside from co-starring with Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds, the A Quiet Place star will also direct, co-produce, and write the script for the film. According to reports, the film will also feature actress Phoebe Waller-Bridge and her Fleabag co-star, Killing Eve’s Fiona Shaw. Here’s some more information.

The plot of the film Imaginary Friends is said to revolve around a person who has the ability to communicate with other people’s old, imaginary friends, some of whom, he learns, are angry or upset about being cast aside. The film’s production will begin next summer, most likely after Reynolds returns from his recently announced sabbatical from filmmaking following the completion of Spirited, in which he co-stars with Will Ferrell.
