There are several actors in Bollywood who are ready to walk that extra mile to make their characters look realistic in a way that they are able to strike the right chords with the audience. One such actor is Nushrat Bharucha, who believes in working hard for her characters.
She is in limelight for her upcoming film ‘Chhori’.
Nusrat told in an interview that she started wearing a pregnant bodysuit 25 days before the shooting to mould herself into the character of a pregnant woman.
Nushrat walked an extra mile for the role
This was revealed by Nusrat in an interview. She has been forthcoming about her film-related preparations.
She said, “As I’m not actually going to become pregnant for now in reality, I had them make that bodysuit for me to feel what a woman bearing child actually goes through. I was wearing it 20-25 days before the film’s shoot started, and literally did all of my chores including eating, sleeping, going to the bathroom, roaming around and everything else to understand the restrictions that it comes with.”
Nushrat wanted to understand the nuances of pregnancy closely
Nusrat told that she has faithfully followed all the precautions related to eating, travelling and sleeping.
During this, the actress understood every detail related to pregnancy closely. She did all this to bring life to his character.
She told that when the shooting of the film started, she did not have much trouble in giving the scene. She was feeling very comfortable during the shoot.

The film will hit Amazon Prime on November 26
This film was not that easy for Nusrat.
Elaborating about the film, she said, “Since we’ve moved to the very realistic cinema, we don’t need to spoonfeed things to the audience. It needs to be so subtle and subliminal that the audience at a subconscious level are convinced to assume you’re pregnant without you actually telling them through conventional actions.”
‘Chhori’ will release on Amazon Prime Video on November 26 .

This film is a Hindi remake of Marathi film ‘Lapachappi’
‘Chhori’ is directed by Vishal Furia and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishnan Kumar, Vikram Malhotra, Jack Davis and Shikha Sharma. It is the Hindi remake of the superhit Marathi film ‘Lapchapi’.
Apart from Nusrat, Meeta Vashisht, Rajesh Jais, Saurabh Goyal and Yania Bhardwaj will also be seen in the film.
The 2017 release ‘Lapchapi’ revolves around a pregnant woman who moves into a new house with her husband. A spirit resides in that house.
