Actress Swara Bhasker always grab headlines for some reason or the other. Sometimes for her boldness, and the other time for her straightforwardness, she is often the target of critics on social media. Not only this, Bhasker brave a lot of trolling for a reason as mere as keeping her views and point across. However, she still manages to keep her head up.
Sometime back, she was seen celebrating Diwali with orphans. Now, the news has it that Bhasker is planning to adopt a child. She himself has disclosed this.

Swara always wanted family and children
It is a known fact that Bhasker is not in a relationship with anyone currently. In such a situation, she has decided that she will soon adopt a child. The legal process is long, however, Bhasker has made up her mind
In an interview with Mid Day, Swara said, ” I’ve always wanted a family and children. I realised that adoption was a way to marry these things. Luckily in India, the State allows single women to adopt. I met many couples who have adopted children, met some children who were adopted and are now almost adults. I read up on the process and experience.”
Swara can’t wait to adopt a child
Swara said, “Before taking this decision, I met many such couples who have adopted a child. I talked to them and considered their experience.”
She told, “The family is with me in this decision and is supporting me. I know the waiting period is long, often as long as three years, but I can’t wait to be a parent to a child through adoption.”
Other Bollywood actresses who became mothers by adopting a child
Raveena Tandon adopted two daughters at the age of 21. Sushmita Sen adopted a daughter at the age of 25 and adopted another daughter as she grew up. Sunny Leone adopted a two-and-a-half-year-old daughter.
Swara was reportedly in a relationship with writer Himanshu Sharma
Bhasker has made a lot of headlines for her love affair with writer Himanshu Sharma. Both were in a relationship for five years and Swara even wanted to marry Himanshu, but suddenly both of them broke up.
Himanshu has written the story of films like ‘Raanjhanaa’, ‘Tanu Weds Manu’, ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’, ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla’ and ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’. Himanshu announced his marriage with writer Kanika Dhillon last year.

Swara is currently shooting for the film ‘Jahan Chaar Yaar’. In this, Shikha Talsania, Mehr Vij and Pooja Chopra will be seen with her.
She will also be seen in the short film ‘Sheer Korma’. The film also stars Shabana Azmi and Divya Dutta in important roles. The story revolves around two women who are in love.
Apart from this, Bhasker will also be seen in the murder mystery film ‘Mimamsa’. She will play the role of an investigating officer.
