Apart from Bigg Boss 15 and Tiger 3, Salman Khan is making headlines for the recently released film ‘Antim: The Final Truth’. Though the film had a slow start at the box office and people didn’t seem to be too happy with the progress of the film, now it has gained momentum. Salman Khan’s brother-in-law Aayush Sharma is also seen in the film. The film was released in theatres on November 26.
The good news for Salman Khan’s fans is that the film has earned 50 crores worldwide, according to reports.
This is the film’s two weeks earnings
According to media reports, Salman’s ‘Antim: The Final Truth’ has collected Rs 50 crore worldwide. The film touched this figure in the second weekend of release. In the first three days of the release, the film had earned Rs 24.11 crore worldwide. It is expected that Salman’s film will continue to be in the race at the same pace. The presence of Salman and Aayush in the film has captivated the audience.
The film had a slow start, collecting only Rs 5.3 crore on the opening day
Salman’s ‘Antim’ had a sluggish start on the first day itself. The film’s opening was at Rs 5.3 crore in India. This came as a shocker to Salman’s fans. However, at the end of the opening weekend, the film had collected Rs 18.61 crore in its bag. It was only by the end of the week that the film picked up the pace and collected Rs 29.35 crore at the box office.
Salman and Aayush’s performance ruled over people’s hearts
Along with the fans, the critics have also called the film ‘Ultimate’ and money worth. While people blew whistles at Salman’s performance, the audience could not stop themselves from applauding Aayush Sharma’s action sequences.
Apart from this, people have also liked the work of actress Mahima Makwana. In the film, Salman plays a Sikh cop, while Aayush plays a gangster.
‘Antim’ is the Hindi remake of the Marathi film ‘Mulshi Pattern’.
The film is produced by Salman Khan’s production house
The direction of the film was taken over by Mahesh Manjrekar. Salman and Mahesh have previously worked together as co-stars in ‘Dabangg’, ‘Dabangg 3’ and ‘Ready’.
The film has been produced under the banner of Zee Studios and Salman Khan Films.
Many believe that Salman wants to establish his brother-in-law Aayush in Bollywood through this film. A tremendous fight has also been seen between Salman and Aayush in this film.
Quick facts about Aayush Sharma
Aayush made his Bollywood debut with the film ‘Loveyatri’. This film was a flop. Salman was also seen with him in this. Despite working hard, Aayush has been not able to make a mark in the industry, not, at least, before the release of ‘Antim’. This is why ‘Antim’ is an important film for him and his career.
