It seems Bollywood is a fresh target of the raging fury of COVID-19. A few days after Kareena Kapoor Khan and Amrita Arora tested positive, actor Arjun Kapoor, too, got infected with Corona. Now, his sister Anshula’s COVID-19 report has also come out to be positive. The brother-sister duo has been quarantined.
Arjun has appealed to the people who came in contact with him to get the corona test done.
Arjun Kapoor recently went to his girlfriend Malaika Arora’s house for a Christmas party. Malaika’s sister Amrita Arora also attended the party.
Apart from Malaika, a Christmas party was also organized at her friend Karisma Kapoor’s house. In such a situation, there is a possibility that Arjun has been infected in the party.
Arjun and Malaika were also seen together at Anshula’s birthday party last night. As a precaution, Malaika has also got her test done.
This is not the first time that Arjun has tested positive for the virus. He has been a victim of it earlier, too. It was in September last year that he tested positive for COVID-19. He told the fans about his battle with Corona by writing a long note.
In another incident, the corona report of Anil Kapoor’s daughter Rhea and son-in-law Karan Boolani has also come positive. Rhea wrote on social media, ‘Yes, I am Covid positive, in spite of being super careful. But this is the nature of the epidemic. My husband and I am are in isolation and taking all precautions.’
She wrote, ‘Everything tastes bad except chocolate. My head is aching. For everyone reaching out to make sure we are ok. we are not too bad.’
Just last day, actor Ranvir Shorey had reported about his 10-year-old son Haroon being Corona positive. He wrote, ‘My son Haroon and I went to Goa for a holiday. While returning from there, we had RT-PCR done before taking the flight to Mumbai, in which Harun was found positive. We both have no symptoms.’
From the small screen, Nakuul Mehta and Arjun Bijlani have also been hit by Corona.
The COVID situation in the country is turning a bit worrisome as India reported 9,195 new cases of corona and 302 deaths in the last 24 hours. The total number of infected in the country has gone up to 3,48,08,886. Of these, 4,80,592 people have died. The number of active cases has increased to 77,002.
There have also been 781 cases of Omicron variants in the country. In Maharashtra, the most affected state of Corona, 2,172 people were found infected yesterday and 22 patients died.
