The Batman will offer a new version of the titular vigilante from Gotham, played by Robert Pattinson. Matt Reeves is directing the upcoming DCEU film, which will be Pattinson’s first appearance in the franchise. The film will also include Colin Farrell as the Penguin, Paul Dano as the Riddler, and Zoe Kravitz as Selina Kyle or Catwoman, in addition to the legendary actor.
Although plot elements are still being kept under wraps, the first set of trailers and promotional materials for the film gives fans a taste of what to expect. The Riddler has been revealed as the film’s principal antagonist, although the Penguin and Catwoman are also expected to cause problems for the Dark Knight.
The interaction between Bruce and Selina is one of the most intriguing narrative lines that has been frequently highlighted in marketing. Although it is unknown whether Selina will be on Batman’s side in the film, it appears that she will become entangled with several of Gotham City’s factions.
With 2021 heading towards a close, a new trailer for The Batman has debuted, focusing on Bruce and Selina.
Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle: A New Perspective
Warner Bros. has introduced a new trailer for The Batman, featuring new footage from the upcoming DCEU film as well as a closer look at Robert Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne and Zoe Kravitz’s Selina Kyle.
The 2-minute clip includes dramatic Batmobile action, a glimpse inside the Riddler’s sinister plan, and an exciting confrontation between Bruce and Selina.
There was also a new look at Andy Serkis’ Alfred Pennyworth.
A shirtless Bruce Wayne is also seen in the trailer, presumably during his Batcave training.

Robert Pattison in the new revengeful look
Robert Pattinson has taken over as Batman, and he isn’t messing around. Pattinson’s portrayal of the Dark Knight in “The Batman” is influenced by Kurt Cobain. It was inspired by Gus Van Sant’s “Last Days,” which features a Kurt Cobain-like figure. This suggests that Pattison’s Batman will be a psychologically ill hermit who mumbles to himself in his empty mansion, and I’m all for it. I know we’ve seen a lot of Bat-movies before, and I don’t think we need yet another reboot of this story. Nonetheless, I’m excited for what filmmaker Matt Reeves has created here, a somber film that seems like a serial killer thriller with Batman as a character.
