Top 5 K-pop comebacks in January, 2022

2022 seems to be a great year when it comes to entertainment. It won’t be wrong to say that the year will kick off with a slew of fiery comebacks from our favourite performers, and we can’t wait to witness their new shows! From the debuts of much-anticipated groups such as Kep1er and Girls On Top to the rapid comebacks of successful groups such as ENHYPEN, OMEGA X, and others, there’s a lot to expect from the year.

We also have a number of solo comebacks planned, such as AleXa, MAMAMOO’s Wheein, and Moonbyul, among others. Let’s have a look at the complete agenda for the month ahead:

SEVENTEEN’s Woozi: ‘Ruby’ (Mixtape)

SEVENTEEN’s Woozi reminisced on the experience of making his first-ever solo mixtape as he prepares for its release, as well as what fans may expect! Woozi has released his debut solo mixtape “Ruby” today, January 3 at 6 PM KST via iTunes, Spotify, Apple Music, and SoundCloud, among other online outlets. “I feel like I developed as a musician while making this song, which makes me extremely happy,” Woozi added, “and I believe it will be a great present for CARATs [SEVENTEEN’s fan club], therefore I’m really satisfied.”

UP10TION: 10th Mini Album – Novella

The latest music video preview for the title track Crazy About You from the 10th mini-album Novella was published on January 2 via UP10TION’s official social media accounts. The orchestra with growing emotions and the emotive electric guitar instrumental’, which was initially seen in the teaser film, established a dramatic mood and immediately focused attention.

Eric Nam: ‘There And Back Again’

Eric Nam’s second English studio album is titled There And Back Again. It will be launched on January 7, 2022. His previously released songs I Don’t Know You Anymore and Any Other Way are included on the album.”It’s about contemplating about the different trips we all take, and this album is attempting to bring to song the shared human experience of coping with relationships, highs and lows,” says the artist.

There and Back Again has a title with a phrase popularly associated with Bilbo Baggins and his quest in J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit, which Nam says is not deliberate.
