Rapper Ye, previously known as Kanye West, has a new love interest in the guise of actress Julia Fox, with whom he has been spotted out and about recently. But it wasn’t until recently that they made it public.
In a recent interview, the star of Uncut Gems discusses her relationship with West, claiming that they had an “instant connection” after meeting in Miami on New Year’s Eve.
Engaging with a magazine, Fox stated, “His enthusiasm is so great to be around. All night long, he had myself and my companions laughing, dancing, and smiling.”
“To keep the momentum rolling, we decided to go back to New York City to watch Slave Show,” she said, alluding to the Broadway play on interracial relationships and trauma.
The interview involves a PDA-filled picture shoot with Fox, 31, and West, 44, snuggling and canoodling in front of racks of garments that the actress appears to be modelling for the artist.
Fox also talked about a date with West where he surprised her
“Ye’s flight landed at six o’clock, the game was at seven o’clock, and he arrived ON TIME. I was blown away. After the show, we went to Carbone, which is one of my favourite restaurants,” she explained. “While people dined, Ye directed a complete picture shoot for me in the restaurant!” The entire diner was enthralled by it and cheered us on as it unfolded.”
West didn’t stop at enjoying a nice post-Broadway supper at the restaurant; he also directed “a complete picture session” with Fox there.
In an interview, the actress claimed, “The entire restaurant enjoyed it and applauded us on while it was occurring.”
The actress paired Miaou’s thong pants with a tight Balenciaga turtleneck and coat, all from the West-favoured designer, for the impromptu session.
West had a “surprise” prepared for Fox
“I’m still stunned. Ye had enough clothing to fill a whole hotel room. Every girl’s fantasy had come true. It was like being in a Cinderella story. I’m not sure how he accomplished it or how he managed to get everything there on time. But I was taken aback, “she said.
The actress is shown getting dressed by a stylist from racks of apparel, which include many pieces from Diesel’s Spring/Summer 22 runway collection, which was designed by new creative director Glenn Martens.
West, with a glass of wine in his hand, looks on, approvingly. And he apparently approved, as Fox, dressed in her new outfit, straddles the rapper on the floor in additional photographs.
In the interview, the actress discussed their connection as well as her ambitions for the future.
“Things seems to be so natural with us. I’m not sure where things are going, but if this is any indicator, I’m going to enjoy the journey “Fox penned an article.”
