This 27-year-old Pakistani actress played Arya in MOM, sharing the screen with late actress Sridevi. Aly is famous for her cute looks and she has appeared in many famous Pakistani serials like Meri Ladli, Gohar-e-Nayab, Tum Mere Kya Ho and O Rangreza. The actress is in the news for rejecting a Hollywood project.
Recently in an interview, Aly said she got an offer for a role in a movie that she rejected due to a bold scene.
She stated, “If an actor is lucky, he or she gets offered more international work but, regardless, I would never turn my back on my industry. All the international work that has come my way has been because those filmmakers had seen my work in Pakistan. And when I go abroad, I do so as a Pakistani. I want to keep contributing and giving back to my industry with the work that I do,” and showed her concern towards her potential and love for the country.
Further, she continued and said, “I was also offered the title role in another Hollywood movie and the story was very exciting. However, there was a single, very bold scene in the movie that I knew I couldn’t do.”
She was also offered a body double role for the bold scene she was not comfortable with. So she said “Even if I managed to do so, the people of my country would have connected that scene with me. I wouldn’t want to disillusion them like that.”
Sajal Aly has earned a lot of recognition for her work. In 2017, she won Best Actress for Zindagi Kitni Haseen Hai. In 2018, the actress won Best Onscreen Couple Popular with Bilal Abbas Khan and Best Actor Popular for TV series O Rangreza.
Recently, she reposted one of the creativity of the fan that was made for her and showed her love and respect towards her fans. The actress respect and loves to represent her country and says she works harder to bring more pride to Pakistan.
For the unversed, Aly tied the knot with Pakistani actor, music producer, and singer Ahad Raza Mir on March 14, 2020. The actress made her debut in 2016 through Zindagi Kitni Haseen Hay, where she played the role of Maira Khan in the film.
