The fans of thrillers must be well-aware of Greg Spottiswood’s legal drama All Rise. For the unversed, the series was released on September 23, 2019. The dramedy television series is centred on Lola Carmichael, a newly appointed judge in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
She is recognised for taking decisive action when the situation calls for it. Other legal specialists in the courtroom are also seen as working tirelessly to deliver justice despite the system’s flaws. It received a lukewarm response from critics and fans at its initial release.
Many individuals applauded the show’s well-intentioned potential but pointed out that it was hampered by antiquated stereotypes. The show was hailed for its diversity, performances, and witty banter.
It’s also been praised for how it portrays individuals and conflicts. Some viewers, though, have grumbled that the courtroom drama may come across as arrogant at times.
This, however, hasn’t stopped people from embracing the show for what it stands for. With the second season, ending in 2021, fans are eagerly waiting to hear whether All Rise Season 3 will be created. So that’s everything you need to know about it!
All Rise Season 3 Expected Release Date
The previously cancelled CBS drama starring Simone Missick has been renewed for a third season with a total of 20 episodes. The series’ streaming rights will be split between HBO Max and Hulu. Season three will premiere in 2022, with WarnerMedia and Disney-backed streaming services releasing the episodes after the season ends. Seasons one and two will also be broadcast on OWN before the third season premieres.
All Rise Season 3 Expected Plot
The series was inspired by Steve Bogira’s novel Courtroom 302. It follows the cases, as well as the personal lives, of judges, prosecutors, and public defenders in the Los Angeles courts. Spottiswood, who is still the showrunner, has remained tight-lipped about the premise of the upcoming season. However, we may be able to predict some of the plotlines for All Rise Season 3.
The following season will provide additional new facts about the errors committed by authorised advisers, judges, and others. In some ways, it will depict a fresh real-life story. All we have to do now is wait for a trailer. Once we receive an official trailer for All Rise season 3, we’ll give you a complete narrative description.

The critical reaction
Based on 16 reviews, the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes recorded a 56 per cent approval rating with an average rating of 5.98/10.
Backdrop
All Rise is a glimpse inside the hectic, optimistic, and occasionally comical lives of judges, prosecutors, and public defenders as they work with bailiffs, clerks, and cops to provide justice to the people of Los Angeles in the face of a broken judicial system. Judge Lola Carmichael, a well renowned and outstanding deputy district attorney, is one of them. She doesn’t intend to sit back on the bench in her new post, but instead leans in, pushing the boundaries and testing assumptions of what a judge may be.
The previous cancellation
For the third season of All Rise, Harris-Lawrence will be the only showrunner. If Peabody-winning drama David Makes Man receives a third season after its shift from CBS to OWN, Harris-Lawrence would have two series on the Discovery-backed basic cable network.
In May, CBS announced the cancellation of the show All Rise. Last season, the procedural — one of the few on CBS with a Black lead — ranked last in the ratings among CBS dramas, with an average of less than 6 million total viewers after a week of delayed watching.
Following the cancellation, Warner Bros. TV president Channing Dungey quickly began looking for a new home for the programme, and conversations with OWN began shortly after the decision was made in May.
Harris-Lawrence, Missick, Len Goldstein, and Michael Robin have executively produced All Rise. Wilson Bethel, Jessica Camacho, Marg Helgenberger, and Lindsey Gort are among the cast members.
All Rise will join Queen Sugar, David Makes Man, Cherish the Day, and Delilah on OWN’s scripted lineup of shows.
