And why not? Sitcoms have been popular ever since TV became a daily thing for people. The best part about these is that they can be watched at a dinner table while munching food with family.
However, the pandemic saw a sudden shift, from televisions to OTT platforms and many of us missed watching the evergreen sitcoms and serials. But nonetheless, these extremely lovely and entertaining sitcoms are available on various OTT platforms as well.

Big Bang Theory

The plot of the story revolves around five characters. These include Sheldon Cooper, Leonard Hofstadter, Penny and Howard Wolowitz and Raj Koothrappali. But none of their brilliance aids them in interacting with others, particularly women. When a free-spirited beauty called Penny comes in next door, everything changes. Sheldon, Leonard’s roommate, is satisfied to spend his nights playing Klingon Boggle with fellow CalTech scientists Wolowitz and Koothrappali, who are socially dysfunctional. Leonard, on the other hand, sees in Penny a whole new world of possibilities, including love.

Friends is a 90s comedy TV sitcom set in Manhattan about six friends who go through every life event conceivable together, including love, marriage, divorce, children, heartbreaks, disputes, new jobs and job losses, and all kinds of drama. The show begins with each character in their twenties and progresses over a ten-year span as they search for happiness, prosperity, and the true meaning of “friendship.” Rachel Green, Phoebe Buffay, Monica Geller, Ross Geller, Joey Tribbiani, and Chandler Bing are our six well-known characters.
Modern Family

Modern Family follows three distinct sorts of families (nuclear, blended, and same-sex) who are linked by Jay Pritchett and his children, Claire and Mitchell, who live in the Los Angeles region. The adventures of Det. Jake Peralta and his colourful, endearing coworkers as they patrol the NYPD’s 99th Precinct are chronicled in this comedy series.
Captain Ray Holt assumes command of the 99th Precinct in Brooklyn, which includes Detective Jake Peralta, a gifted but careless detective who is used to doing whatever he wants. Detective Amy Santiago, Jake’s overachieving and competitive partner; Detective Rosa Diaz, a tough and reserved coworker; Detective Charles Boyle, Jake’s best friend who also has a crush on Rosa; Detective Sergeant Terry Jeffords, who was recently taken off the field after the birth of his twin daughters; and Gina Linetti, the precinct’s sarcastic administrator are among the 99th precinct’s other employees.
The Office

Michael Scott, the branch manager in Scranton, PA, is in charge of a subpar paper firm. This mockumentary follows the manager and the staff he “manages” on a daily basis. The team follows the staff about 24 hours a day, capturing their often amusing and odd interactions as they do whatever it takes to keep the firm afloat.
New Girl

Jess, a bright, offbeat teacher who is known for bursts of song, discovers her partner having an affair with another woman. She moved into a loft with three single males she’s never met before after becoming homeless. Nick, a disgruntled law school dropout, isn’t the most pleasant company. Schmidt is a flamboyant, eccentric businessman who considers himself to be Yahweh’s gift to women. Winston is a former athlete who is unsure what to do but really wants to win. Is this dysfunctional bunch up to the task of dealing with the adorable new girl?
How I Met Your Mother
