American actor, Morgan Stevens,70 was found dead at his home, on 26 January 2022, as per the reports. No information is found regarding the cause of the death, as of now. The incident was first reported by TMZ. It was also suspected that the actor was dead for several days when his body was found. Though no dubious incident was seen during the investigation.
For the unversed, Morgan Stevens was born on October 16, 1951, in Knoxville, Tennessee. He joined Hollywood as soon after getting graduate from college. He started his career by appearing as Paul Northridge in one episode of The Waltons and other three reunion movies which included A Wedding on Walton’s Mountain in which he portrayed the character who married Erin Walton who was played by Mary Elizabeth McDonough.
The actor played his first main role in the TV show Fame where he portrayed Teacher David Reardon for two seasons. He appeared in 20 episodes of season 2 and later appeared as a star guest when the show was merged during the third season episode Catch A Falling Star and was also co-starred in the TV movie Roses are for the Rich.
Stevens also did short roles like The Love Boat, The Return of Marcus Welby M.D., Airwolf, and the original Magnum P.I but after this, his career came after he had an argument with police in 1989 and came back in acting in the 1990s in popular soap opera Melrose Place where he portrayed Nick Diamond in seven episodes.
What caused a break in Morgan Stevens’s career?
Stevens’s acting career came to a break in 1989 during August. The actor had a minor car accident and was arrested on mistrust of DUI by the Los Angeles police.
When the actor was in police custody he was harshly abused, he suffered a broken nose, nerve damage on his face, cheek fracture, and jaw was dislocated. After a blood alcohol test, the actor was cleared of DUI (Driving under the influence) charge and his treatment was dropped under the lawsuit against LAPD (Los Angeles Police Department).
Morgan came back to his acting in 1992 where he played Nick Diamond in the TV hit Melrose Place in seven episodes. But the work got irregular and the actor gave his last appearance in 1999 in the episode Walker, Texas Ranger.
