Mendes is not the only one to postpone his upcoming tour
Mendes is far from the only pop singer whose tour has been forced to be rescheduled due to the emergence of the highly contagious omicron COVID-19 type.
After testing positive for COVID on what he claims would be his final tour, Elton John canceled two Dallas gigs this week.
Last week, Adele published an emotional video in which she stated that her Las Vegas residency “ain’t ready” and will be postponed due to preparation challenges brought on by her health crisis.
Many well-known actors, broadcasters, and comedians have tested positive, causing them to postpone their appearances and interviews in the past month. Hugh Jackman, Billie Eilish, and Jimmy Fallon are among the celebrities who have shared their COVID test results in order to encourage others to get completely vaccinated.
