The latest Hulu series Pam & Tommy is here and Pamela Anderson is, reportedly, not very happy about the release. The series aired on Hulu on February 2, 2022. Sources close to Anderson revealed what are the actress’s genuine feelings are towards the series.
Pamela is not a fan of this at all and wanted nothing to do with the project, the source revealed to Hollywood Life. “When she learned that this would be covering the burglary, she was absolutely mortified because that entire episode is something that was very hard for her to deal with when it happened. She said that she is not going to watch ‘Pam & Tommy’ and she does not want her kids to watch it either. She didn’t want money from this – she didn’t want it to be made in the first place and she is not going to respond to it.”
An additional source also revealed to Hollywood Life she once again feels like her privacy is being robbed again after all these years. She looked at the events covered in the series as irony because Pam was violated by the stealing of the tape years ago and the same thing is happening all over again.
Pamela Anderson feels that as the series is based on her life, it is very shocking to see Hulu putting something out there without her consent or say in the matter. She wants to be completely alienated from it and just wants to live her life peacefully.
On the other hand, a source connected to Tommy Lee,59 said to Hollywood Life, “the musician was as “[not] so bothered” by the upcoming show and “doesn’t quite understand” why Pam has such harsh feelings about it. “He is okay with it and thinks that it is rad that he is being portrayed in a series on Hulu. He will watch it for sure,” the insider shared.
Tommy embraces his past and feels quite surprised by the things they got away with. Both of their views contradict each other and although they have children, they have been on rocky terms. They are completely different people now.
