A big sigh of relief for BTS Army because Jimin has finally been discharged from hospital after testing negative for COVID.
Jimin was brought to the medical department earlier this week after feeling acute stomach pain and a little sore throat, according to BigHit Music. Jimin underwent surgery on January 31, 2022, after being diagnosed with both acute appendicitis and COVID-19, and he stayed in the hospital for many days thereafter to be treated for COVID-19 as part of his postoperative treatment.
Big Hit Music generates statement to confirm Jimin’s discharge from hospital
The statement released by Big Hit Music on Weverse read that as of this morning, Jimin’s quarantine has ended following his surgery for severe appendicitis.
Jimin was diagnosed with acute appendicitis on Sunday, January 30 and had surgery on Monday, January 31 after testing positive for COVID-19. Before being discharged from the hospital, he got in-patient treatment and tested negative on his PCR test.
The statement also spoke about Jimin’s symptoms and read that during his time in the hospital, Jimin had no unusual symptoms. He had a little sore throat when he was admitted, but he has now healed entirely. The hospital team also informed us that his surgery site is mending swiftly and without complications. Jimin is recovering at home after being released from the hospital.
The statement concluded by the agency thanking everyone who has expressed concern for the artist’s health, as well as those in the medical sector who are working hard to conquer COVID-19.
The company also promised to priorities the health of the artists and strictly adhere to the health-care rules.

After hearing the news that Jimin had finally been discharged from hospital and had tested negative for COVID, armies took a sigh of relief and had their moment of happiness. Many took to Twitter to express their relief and wished the star a happy recovery after his surgery.

Jimin shared his heartfelt feelings with fans
Jimin recently, while being hospitalized, shared a post on Weverse updating armies about his health. He wrote: “You were worried about it right? I’m recovering well.”
In another post he wrote about his feelings about the situation. The message read: “I’m worried and I’m afraid. Though, I think I will be able to leave the hospital soon! I’m recovering well. I also ate all three meals of rice (smiling emoji). Please wait a minute. I will recover my skills and go.”
BTS members RM, Jin, and Suga were diagnosed with the coronavirus in December, just after returning from a series of live gigs in the United States. Jimin is the group’s fourth member to have tested positive for Covid-19. The other members had previously tested negative and returned back to their schedules safely.
