Park Hyung Sik, famously known as Hyungsik, will be playing Han Sun-woo, a handsome rookie photographer with a warm personality.
The 30-year-old Korean star is an actor, singer, and dancer. He is also a member of the boy band ZE:A and its sub-unit, ZE:A Five. He made his acting debut in 2012, with the SBS’ special drama, I Remember You. He rose to fame after joining Real Men, a variety show featuring Korean celebrities where they experience life in the military, earning the nickname “Baby Soldier” for his innocent yet passionate appearance.
He gained recognition as an actor after his supporting role in the hit teen drama, The Heirs (2013). Hyungsik starred in the SBS romance drama High Society in 2015, in which he played a chaebol who falls for a part-timer at the gourmet grocery he manages. His performance in the series received positive reviews, resulting in an increase in his fame in Japan.
In February 2017, Hyung Sik landed his first leading role in the romantic-comedy, Strong Girl Bong-soon. The drama was highly successful both commercially and critically and ended up becoming one of the highest-rated dramas in the history of Korean cable TV. He then went ahead to star in the Korean remake of the American TV series Suits (2018), again as the main lead. His latest drama was in 2021, the apocalyptic thriller, Happiness, as a detective, alongside Han Hyo-joo.
Han So Hee will be playing Seo Eun-soo, a straightforward and lively girl who expresses her feelings honestly.
Han is a Korean actor and model. She began her acting career by starring in multiple dramas as a supporting character – Money Flower (2017), 100 Days My Prince (2018), and Abyss (2019). In 2020, Han starred in JTBC’s smash-hit, The World of the Married, in which she played the role of a young mistress. The drama ended its run as the highest-rated (28.371%) drama in the history of Korean television. As of today, no drama has even come close to it, Sky Castle (2018) ranks at number two with 23.779%.
In 2021 Han bagged her first lead role in the drama, Nevertheless. Though the drama was a domestic failure, it did help her gain a lot of attention, especially among international fans. In the same year, she starred as the main character in Netflix’s crime-thriller, My Name. Her character was completely the opposite of the kind of role she played in Nevertheless.
In her acting career so far, Han has taken up different roles in every drama and proven her talent time and again.
With two main leads who have been featured in a few of the highest-rated dramas in South Korea, and a highly acclaimed director and not-so-conventional way of promotions, we can’t wait to see the magic they bring when put together in a project that too something as enchanting as Soundtrack #1.
