The Season 3 finale, A Jewish Girl Walks Into the Apollo…, was packed with twists and narratives that will have a significant influence on the show’s upcoming fourth season. Midge saw her greatest success as she took off on her first international tour, opening for singer Shy Baldwin (Leroy McClain), and we were left shocked when he dumped her as she cracked jokes in the opening act about his closeted sexuality. She doesn’t want to be an opening act anymore; she wants her own career.
Following in the footsteps of Lenny, we may expect more flirty exchanges between the two comedians. Although fans were anticipating that the two would eventually get together, as previously said, a threat in the form of Milo Ventimiglia’s character seems to get in the way.
The rift between Susie and Midge is also getting bigger. Midge is also seen inviting her parents to move back in with her, so we will be getting a Weissman family reunion in season four.
