Louis Tomlinson has been the king of many hearts for a long time now. The singer has time and again shown his generosity and love for fans through both gestures and words. Recently, Louis helped his fan keeping his stage performance at stake.

Louis Tomlinson abruptly ended his stage performance in Texas after noticing a fan who had passed out in the audience near the barricade.

The 30-year-old former One Direction singer was in the middle of his sold-out world tour’s second show at The Moody Theater in Austin, Texas, when he observed a fan in trouble at the front of the audience. He interrupted the show when he saw Paige, who had allegedly collapsed, and made sure she was taken care of and helped before carrying on with his spectacular performance.

The video of the singer went viral on YouTube

In a video posted to YouTube by a fan, Tomlinson is seen pausing the event and having his staff switch on the lights to make sure the concertgoer is okay.

“Can we get the lights on please? I think someone’s passed out, security, security,” Tomlinson said over the speakers as he pointed out an audience member.

“Are you alright love?” he asked the fan, before kindly offering her his bottle of water.

“Can we just make sure she’s alright? Let’s get her some water. Here I’ll take the lid off, you can have mine,” Tomlinson added as he generously gave her his water.

“Okay, she’s alright,” Tomlinson told the crowd. “I hope you’re doing alright love.”

He then checked in with the rest of the crowd before returning to his sold-out Austin show and singing Defenseless, a single off his first album, WALLS, which just reached 600 million Spotify listens.

Fans over everything

Tomlinson never fails to protect the safety of his fans at his performances, as this isn’t the first time he’s interrupted a live performance to assist a worried fan, demonstrating his devotion to them.

Louis is currently touring to promote his album Walls

WALLS, his debut solo album, was released in January 2020, and the tour is in support of it. Since its debut, the album has sold over a million copies and has topped the worldwide iTunes Album Chart as well as the iTunes Album Chart in 50 countries. The album also charted at No. 4 in the UK Official Charts, No. 2 in UK Official Album sales, No. 8 on Rolling Stone’s Top Albums Chart, and No. 9 on the Billboard 200.

Tomlinson recently produced and performed his own one-day free music festival in London, entitled The Away From Home Festival, which was completely curated by the WALLS singer himself, on August 30, 2021. The festival, which took place in December 2020 and broke the Guinness World Record for most tickets sold for a livestreamed concert by a solo male artist, drew 8,500 fans to Crystal Palace Bowl.

Tomlinson inked a global contract with BMG in May 2021, so we can expect new songs in the near future.
