Netflix confirmed that Tall Girl 2 will premier on Friday, February 11, 2022. The Tall Girl 2 sequel was filmed from April 12, 2021, to May 5, 2021. The sequel is coming on Netflix after two years of the release of the first sequel which was premiered in September 2019 and is still streaming.
The filming started in New Orleans, Louisiana. Main photography for the movie began on April 12, 2021. According to reports, the filming was wrapped up after one and a half months in May 2021. Strict guidelines were followed during the shooting, the cast and crew were tested a week before working and no on-location catering was provided.
The film was shot in different parts of New Orleans which is the most populated city in Louisiana. The cast and crew are considerably filmed in several spots like in the French Quarter neighborhood, which is located in the heart of the city. This included a few scenes in 400 Royal Street. Some crew trucks were also seen on the Marigny side of St. Louis Street. Some of the shots took place near Jackson Square.

We feel Since Jodi and Jack Dunkleman’s are believed to be the same as the first part, Jodi’s house will be home on 1247 Esplanade Avenue possibly and Jack’s mansion is most probably located on 1328 Harmony Street in the neighborhood of Garden District. So the production would have visited the same locations for the second sequel.

Who all are coming back in Tall Girl 2?
Of course, the tall girl Ava Michelle will be seen as Jodi Kreyman. If you have watched the trailer, the video starts with her and the production has also confirmed that she will be seen in the movie along with other cast members from the first sequel of the movie, Tall Girl.
Griffin Gluck will be seen as Jodi’s present boyfriend portraying Jack Dunkleman and Jodi’s ex-love interest Stig Mohlin will also return and is played by Luke Eisner. Steve Zahn and Angela Kinsey will be seen as Jodi’s parents and Sabrina Carpenter as her sister.
You will also see Jodi’s best friend Fareeda played by Anjelika Washington and her bullies, Clara Wilsey and Rico Paris as Kimmy and Schnipper. You will also see new faces joining the cast. Johanna Liauw will be seen playing Stig’s sister Stella and Jan Luis Castellanos as Tommy who is a rival for Jodi’s love and is also seen in 13 Reasons Why.
What is the Tall Girl 2 plot?
The story revolves around Tall Girl Jodi who is 16 years old and her height is over 6 feet tall. She has been the tallest girl in the school and she is insecure about her height and the unfavorable stares that she gets because of it.
Thankfully, she overcomes this insecurity. In the upcoming sequel, Jodi will be seen thriving and accepting her height. She is gaining confidence and is ready to return and face those high school insecurities.
