No, it won’t ruin your date with action but it will make it more memorable as you will end up slapping you knees. 2022 is fully backed by entertainment and revealing more to this Ol Parker is coming up with an American romantic comedy this year, Ticket to Paradise.

Ticket to Paradise Release Date
The upcoming film is all set to release on October 21, 2022. Daniel Pipski is the screenwriter and he took to Twitter to announce the release date, “We got a date!”
The shooting of the film began last year in Queensland Australia.
The writer-director of the film Parker tweeted on the early news of the film, “This is a happy thing.” Parker also tweeted about one of the casting news, calling a certain new addition a “brilliant person.”

The upcoming film is casting George Clooney and Julia Roberts who will be the star of the film. You will also see Kaitlyn Dever who joined the film in April 2021 and will play Lily. Dever Rose will be also seen, she is famous for her leading role in Olivia Wilde. Billie Lours will be seen playing Wren Butler and Lucas Bravo will be also seen in the upcoming film.

Ticket to Paradise plot
As per Deadline, Julia Roberts and George Clooney will play exes who end up hearing about their daughter’s intent to get married and they team up to stop her from “making the same mistake they once made.” As for now, the roles are not revealed for Kaitlyn Dever and Billie Lourd.
One may be seen playing the daughter of a formerly married couple and another one could be the daughter’s love choice. The upcoming film might have an interesting plot as we can feel the spin on the genre which is also refreshing and adding the two older actors Roberts and Clooney, at the forefront of a romantic comedy story, which is still on the rarer side.
While we don’t know much yet about the plot aside from the general premise, seeing Roberts and Clooney play ex-lovers (and, possibly, reconciled lovers) — a dynamic they portrayed in Ocean’s Eleven — will be a treat for their fans and rom-com fans alike. Seeing as Ticket to Paradise” is a romantic comedy, we can expect plenty of tropes of the genre to pop up, such as witty conversational sparring between the love interests or a big understanding getting in the way of their reconciliation.
