BTS member Jungkook’s new 7 Fates: CHAKHO OST song, produced by Suga, is breaking records all over the world on iTunes charts!
Jungkook released the new song Stay Alive (produced by Suga) for the soundtrack of BTS’s original webtoon and web book 7 Fates: CHAKHO on February 11 at 2 p.m. KST.
Stay Alive had already climbed to the top of the iTunes Top Songs charts in 51 countries within three hours of its release, and within six hours, it had become the quickest single by a Korean solo artist to reach No. 1 in 80 countries.
Stay Alive had reached No. 1 on iTunes Top Songs rankings in at least 93 locations around the world as of 4 a.m. KST on February 12—just 14 hours after its release.
Furthermore, Stay Alive has broken the record for the fastest single by a Korean solo artist to reach No. 1 on the iTunes Top Songs charts in all eight of the world’s major music markets: the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, France, Canada, Australia, the Netherlands, and Germany.

Stay Alive is a beautiful but magnificent pop song that perfectly complements the tale and ambiance of 7 Fates: CHAKHO, which shows a conflict between humans and tigers in the background of a near-future metropolis. This song brings the ‘CHAKHO’ partnership to a new level. BTS’ SUGA is notable for the original plot and song’s synergy. Jungkook’s melancholy vocals are in the plot, and SUGA performed the production work based on the real description of 7Fates: CHAKHO and the webtoon graphic concept to create a delicate tone as a producer. It enhanced the characters’ and story’s realism.
In the meantime, every Saturday, HYBE Label’s original narrative 7 Fates: CHAKHO, in collaboration with BTS is published as a webtoon and web book. The webtoon has already crossed 15 million views in only two days after being distributed in ten languages around the world through Naver Webtoon’s worldwide service on January 15.
WEBTOON, the world’s biggest digital comics platform, and HYBE finally released their highly-anticipated new series of webcomics and webnovels titled 7 Fates: CHAKHO featuring BTS on January 14, 2022. This agreement was announced by HYBE during their annual corporate “Briefing with the Community” on November 3, 2021, and is part of the ‘Super Casting’ campaign, a collection of worldwide alliances that brings some of the world’s most exciting entertainment firms to WEBTOON.
7 Fates: CHAKHO is an urban fantasy narrative set in the near future and inspired by the Joseon Dynasty’s “Chakhogapsa” tiger hunters. This epic story follows seven young men who are fated to be together. They must become a cohesive group of seven to unlock their destiny after growing up together through a series of hardships and tribulations.

With another masterpiece by the members of BTS, it comes natural that Armies were super happy by the song. Some even expressed their happiness in the comments section of YouTube. Alongside Instagram, Facebook and Twitter were flooded with edits and messages.
But one surprise for the fans is that SUGA in one his live had already teased the tune of the song on guitar. Fans have noticed it recently and were shocked that none of them could find it earlier. Anyhow the song is being cherished by all alike and has been praised by many.
