On February 13, 2022, the world’s largest sports league, The National Football League (NFL), will host the 2022 Super Bowl LVI which  is one of the biggest events in the world as it’s the annual playoff championship for “the best” NFL teams.

For the first match, the Cincinnati Bengals will play Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California and BTS is going to be at Super Bowl. Yes, you read that right. BTS is a part of 2022 Super Bowl.

The Army expected them to perform the Half Time Show but to their disappointment that couldn’t happen. Instead rappers Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar will perform at the Halftime Show. Here’s the trailer for the same:

However, BTS will be featured during one of the ad spots during the 2022 Super Bowl LVI which are highly sought-after and that too is a huge moment for the band and the army. Being the global ambassador, BTS was featured in promotional video for the new “Galaxy For The Planet” campaign, inspired by Bob Dylan‘s iconic Subterranean Homesick Blues music video, for Samsung. This very promotional video will be aired during Super Bowl.

On February 9, 2022, Samsung released its new line-up of products under “Galaxy for the Planet” planet where it claimed that it will repurpose ocean-bound discarded fishing nets in their products. In the promotional video, the main issue being addressed is the ocean getting more polluted day by day.  The members can be seen holding placards with sentences like, “Let’s work together for a better future” in order to encourage everyone to work for the cause in their own personal ways.

Just the news of BTS’ presence in Super Bowl was enough to make the Army go crazy, twitter flooded with positive responses. Here are some.
