Niall Horan justified his absence from social media by telling followers that he’s been hard at work on new music. Niall Horan is working hard to give his fans what they want: new songs!
On Monday, February 7, 2022, the musical icon turned to Twitter to explain why he hasn’t been active on social media.
He disclosed that he is working on new stuff and described the process as “time consuming.” With their smash-hit duet Our Song, the former One Direction member last released music with Anne-Marie.
Prior to that, he released his sophomore album, Heartbreak Weather, which had songs like Nice To Meet Ya.
Niall delivered a nice greeting to his followers on his Twitter page, writing: “Hello there, Lovers. I hope everyone is doing well. Making some new music and it’s time consuming with long hours.”

He acknowledged his recent social media seclusion while he honed down on the possible sound of the new album, “I apologize for not being online a lot.”
He ended the nice message by stating to his fans, “Miss you.”

Horan even replied to one fan who asked what his studio routine was like, to which he replied: “Get up. Go to gym, eat, studio, bed….. go again.”
Niall’s current music endeavors
Horan said in September 2019 that he was working on his upcoming second studio album with Greg Kurstin, who assisted him with the song Put a Little Love on Me. Nice to Meet Ya, the album’s debut song, was released on October 4, 2019. Horan stated on October 30, 2019, that he would embark on the Nice to Meet Ya Tour in 2020. However, because to the COVID-19 epidemic, the trip was eventually cancelled. On December 6, 2019, the album’s second single, Put a Little Love on Me, was released. Horan released the album’s third single, No Judgement, on February 7, 2020, along with the album’s title, Heartbreak Weather, and a release date of March 13, 2020.
Heartbreak Weather premiered at number four on the US Billboard 200 and number one on the UK Albums Chart to good reviews. Horan and English singer Anne-Marie released Our Song on May 21, 2021.

Horan has also revealed that he is a “huge, big swing enthusiast,” listing Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Michael Bublé as some of his favorite musicians. Horan has also revealed that he is a “Justin Bieber admirer” and that Bieber has served as a role model for him. Horan is a fan of The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Bon Jovi, The Script, Take That, and Westlife, among others.
