Don’t you miss Amy Santiago? At least we do.

Good news for Brooklyn Nine-Nine fans: Melissa Fumero of 99th Precinct has now been cast in her next big TV role: Netflix’s comedy series Blockbuster

According to Deadline, the show comes from Universal Television and Netflix, which have ordered ten 30-minute episodes of it. In the single-cam comedy, which takes place at America’s last Blockbuster Video, Fumero joins previously revealed cast member Randall Park. At a later date, more castings for the ensemble workplace comedy will be released.

Blockbuster is helmed by Vanessa Ramos, who previously served as writer and producer on Fumero’s Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Apart from that, Ramos has an impressive career history. She also worked as a writer on other NBC shows like Crashing and Kenan.

Fumero took to Twitter to share her excitement, “Soooooo excited to begin this next chapter with friends I adore especially the incredible @thatRamosgirl and an actor I’ve admired for a long time! Lets goooo!!” she wrote.

Fumero also starred as Adriana Cramer in the ABC series One Life to Live from 2005 until 2011. Recurring roles in the original Gossip Girl, the One Day at a Time reboot, and Diary of a Future President are among her other credits. She recently voiced M.O.D.O.K., an animated Marvel comedy on Hulu.

Executive producers will be Jackie Clarke (Superstore, Happy Endings), David Caspe (Happy Endings, Black Monday), John Fox, and Vanessa Ramos, with Bridger Winegar and Robert Petrovic acting as co-executive producers.

Head of comedy at Netflix, Tracey Pakosta, had earlier confirmed that “This is ultimately the story of a dedicated group of co-workers, with a lot of heart. And now with the hilarious Randall Park signing on to play the lead, it’s a no brainer” in a press release to Deadline.

Blockbuster Cast Members: Who’s in it?

The entire cast list has not been revealed yet, but so far, Fumero and WandaVision‘s Randall Park have been confirmed. Randall is set to play the lead role of Timmy, who is described as a dreamer and a lover of movies.
