WINNER is a South Korean boy band consisting of four members: Jinwoo, Seunghoon, Mino, and Seungyoon. The band was formed in 2013 by YG Entertainment through Mnet’s survival program WIN: Who Is Next leading to their official debut on August 17, 2014, with studio album 2014 S/S.

The Korea Herald described the group’s early success as “unusual” for a new group, and they were known as “Monster Rookies” after that. WINNER is frequently referred to as a “self-producing” band, with all members actively involved in all aspects of production, from choreography to design and marketing. Media outlets and the general public dubbed the band “Trust and Listen” with “Kings of Summer” in press releases. The band is involved in a number of humanitarian initiatives and animal welfare projects as well.

The band has held over 100 concerts over the course of its tenure. Their first world tour, WINNER EVERYWHERE TOUR in 2018, was the band’s largest tour to date.

In 2017, WINNER returned with their lead single Really Really, from their first single album, Fate Number For. It instantly went to number one in South Korea. It went on to sell over 2.5 million digital copies domestically and surpass 100 million streams on Gaon, making Winner the first-ever K-pop boy group in history to achieve this while keeping their “Chart-In” status.

Leading up to the release of WINNER’s third studio album, Remember in April 2020, Kim Jin-woo became the first member to enlist and complete his mandatory military service, putting all full-group activities on hold until all four members return after finishing their mandatory enlistment. Remember comprises eight new songs, including the lead single and pre-release single of the same name, as well as four re-recorded tracks from their debut album, 2014 S/S. Notably, the album recorded its highest first-week sales since its debut. On April 16, 2020, Lee Seung-hoon became the second member to enlist, following Jin-woo

Now that two members have returned from their mandatory enlistment, WINNER has decided to resume their full group activities and decided to gift their fans, Inner Circles, with a concert.

The concert on April 30 will be an offline event, while the performance on May 1 will feature an internet live stream. On both dates, the concerts will begin at 5 p.m. KST in Seoul’s Olympic Hall. Meanwhile, tickets will go on sale to fan club members on February 28 and to the general public on March 7. Additionally, on March 8, tickets for the online event will be available through Weverse Shop.

WINNER’s members also shared a message with their fans via their agency, saying, “We miss our Inner Circles so much. What we want more than anything, and what our fans want to see more than anything, is our stage (performance). We want to talk more about what’s coming, but we wanted to start out by delivering the best news first, so we are sharing the news about the solo concert.”
