BTS and TXT bag TikTok’s Gold and Silver Creator Awards

BTS and TXT are amongst the most renowned K-pop bands in the world. Despite the fact that both boy bands are under BigHit Entertainment, both groups have very different personality and concepts for their albums. It comes as no surprise that both the groups have a plethora of awards under their belt. TXT’s fans MOA and BTS’ ARMY are one of the most dedicated fandoms in the world. Whenever there is an award nomination or a video that has been uploaded, fans watch and vote for the groups in loads. Recently the groups have added another laurel to their caps.

Official TikTok Creator Awards have been given to both BTS and TXT!

BigHit Music announced on February 21 that both groups have awarded gold and silver TikTok Creator Awards for achieving 10 million followers on the app. (Gold awards go to TikTok creators with more than 10 million followers, while the silver ones go to those with over one million followers.)

TXT until now is the only male K-pop group with the second-highest number of followers on TikTok, while BTS has the most followers of any Korean artist. BTS has over 46.5 million followers on the app as of 8 a.m. KST on February 21, while TXT has over 15.6 million.

TXT’s Taehyun and Huening Kai used TikTok earlier last week to flaunt their new accolades ahead of Big Hit Music’s formal announcement.

TXT is preparing for their “2022 TOMORROW X TOGETHER FANLIVE MOA X TOGETHER” fan live events on March 5 and 6, while BTS is ready for their “BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – SEOUL” concerts on March 10, 12, and 13.

BTS Permission to Dance on Stage – Seoul

The Permission to Dance on Stage event by BTS will take place in Seoul, South Korea! The performance will take place over three days and will be a mix of in-person and online live broadcast.

BIgHit recently released a statement telling more about the concert. It read, “Seating for the in-person performance will comply with spacing guidelines mandated by local government performance venue COVID-19 control measures. The event may be changed or canceled depending on the social distancing level. If the in-person component is canceled, your ticket will be fully refunded and additional details will be provided regarding the changes to the event.”

TOMORROW X TOGETHER revealed their third fan today via their official social media outlets and the Weverse fan community website. The fan live will be held on March 5 and 6, 2022, and is titled ‘2022 TOMORROW X TOGETHER FANLIVE MOA X TOGETHER’ (hence ‘MOA X TOGETHER’). A banner depicting the five members smiling while sitting on stairs accompanied the announcement of the fan live.
