Billions just returned to our screens, and the followers of the power-political drama couldn’t get enough of it. Showtime has officially renewed its hit series Billions for Season 7. Billions, created by Brian Koppelman, David Levien, and Andrew Ross Sorkin, premiered in 2016 and quickly became a fan and critic favorite.

Billions returned in September 2021 for the second half of its fifth season after a year off due to a pandemic-related production halt and the latest Season 6 premiered on January 23, 2022. The plot follows hedge fund manager Bobby Axelrod as he rises through the ranks of high finance, accumulating wealth and power. Axelrod’s relentless techniques for securing large profits frequently cross the line into illegal behavior, which US Attorney Chuck Rhoades intends to prosecute.
