The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder Plot

The popular Disney Channel original series premiered in 2001 and ran for two seasons before being canceled in 2005. It followed the lives of 14-year-old Penny Proud, who coped with the normal teenage difficulties of school drama, social pressure, and teenage hormones over the course of the show. The sequel to the original series, The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder, continues the story.

Penny, now 16, and her family will face new challenges in the 2020s, including greater career highs for her mother Trudy, wilder fantasies for her father Oscar, and new challenges for Penny.
