All American is finally back with new episodes on our screens after a winter break. The CW’s sports drama, created by April Blair, is based on real-life football player Spencer Paysinger’s pre-NFL career and was a big hit with viewers when it first aired in October 2018.
The series, inspired by the true-life events of professional American football player Spencer Paysinger, follows the story of Spencer James, a Compton high-school lad who gets chosen to play football for Beverly High in Beverly Hills. Season 4, Part 1 ended with its seventh episode, which aired on December 12, 2021, and the show went on mid-season hiatus.

After the extra long Christmas break, the CW show aired its eighth episode on Monday, February 21. Episode 9 of All American Season 4 is set to premiere on Monday, February 28, 2022 at 8.00 PM ET on The CW.

All American Season 3 had 19 episodes while Season 1 and Season 2 had 16 episodes each. The CW hasn’t released the total number of episodes that will be in Season 4. This season is expected to have 16–20 episodes.

The ninth episode, titled Got Your Money is directed by Dawn Wilkinson, while both Mike Herro and David Strauss serve as writers. In Season 4, Episode 8 of All American, the episode started with an argument between Spencer and Jabari about the whole situation, but Jabari was clear in his decision not to take the fall for Spencer as it would ruin his future. But Spencer was also sure about not letting anyone sacrifice his career for him.
Meanwhile, Spencer’s friends have made the decision to boycott the graduation ceremony to put pressure on the management of the school, which Spencer finds wrong to do. He tells his friends that everyone deserves a graduation ceremony in their school life, and they shouldn’t be making plans to ruin that. But Spencer was not expelled from school, thanks to the school principal, D’Angelo. He told the commission that he supported the pranks as principal of South Crenshaw School, which the committee acknowledged. As a result, D’Angelo is sacked from his job and no longer serves as the school’s principal.
The episode ended, as did the high school life of Spencer and his friends. Episode 9 will follow their lives after graduation. They’re no longer high schoolers, and Spencer seems worried about the sponsorship opportunities he is presented with.
