BTOB tops iTunes Album Chart worldwide!
On February 21, 2022, BTOB dropped their third full-length album, Be Together, along with the music video for the title track The Song. The album has since topped iTunes Album Chart in multiple countries, making Be Together their first album to rank at number 1 on the chart.
The album charted in 21 countries including the UK, New Zealand, Singapore, Vietnam, Taiwan, Malaysia, Brazil, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and more. The album also entered the top 10 in the US and Japan and debuted at number 20 on the European iTunes Album Chart.
Not only is BTOB’s full group comeback doing exceptionally well overseas, but it is also doing incredibly well in South Korea, with the title single The Song debuting at number 1 on the Bugs Realtime Chart and other b-side tracks dominating the chart’s top ranks. The Song also charted at number 2 on Melon’s 5 Minute Chart and No. 4 on Melon’s Realtime Chart.

BTOB is a South Korean boy band formed by Cube Entertainment. The group currently consists of 6 members – Eunkwang, Minhyuk, Changsub, Hyunsik, Peniel, and Sungjae.
They debuted in March 2012 by performing Insane and Imagine on M Countdown. Their first EP Born To Beat debuted in April 2012.
The group’s breakthrough hit Beep Beep was released in 2014. The EP debuted at number 1 on the Gaon Album Chart in the ninth week of 2014, marking their first time at the top. In the same year, the group conducted their first solo live concert, Happy Summer Vacation with BTOB, in Japan in July, with two shows in Osaka on July 19 and two shows in Tokyo on July 21, for a total of four gigs. Each event drew approximately 2,000 people, for a total of 8,000 people.
BTOB’s first unit group was revealed in 2016 – BTOB Blue. The sub-unit consisted of the group’s vocalists – Eunkwang, Changsub, Hyunsik, and Sungjae. In September 2016, BtoB Blue released the digital single Stand By Me, and in August 2018, they released the digital single When It Rains, written by member Hyunsik.
BTOB’s second unit group, BtoB 4U, debuted in October 2020, with members Eunkwang, Minhyuk, Changsub, and Peniel. Minhyuk explained, the name means “for you,” and also refers to the unit’s four members. In November 2020, they released their first mini-album Inside, which included the title track Show Your Love.
Since their debut, the group has won numerous honors, including Best Vocal Group at the 30th Golden Disc Awards in 2016, Top 10 Bonsang at the 2017 Melon Music Awards, and Ballad Award at the 25th Seoul Music Awards in 2018. Five of their albums charted in the top ten on the Gaon Album Chart and nine of their singles charted in the top ten on the Gaon Digital Chart.
Be Together showcases the group’s maturation and evolution as they reflect on the feelings and memories they’ve had as a group, as well as their commitment to being together forever. The Song, composed by member Hyunsik, is a poetic tune that highlights BTOB’s harmonized voices.
Be Together is BTOB’s first comeback as a group after eight months since the release of their 11th mini-album This Is Us. The group’s special 10th anniversary CD, has thirteen tracks, including The Song, an intro, an interlude, and an outro. BTOB’s Hyunsik contributed to the writing and composition of eight of the 13 tracks, while fellow member Minhyuk has his name on five of them.
