The rollercoaster ride that is Euphoria season two is preparing for its big fat finale this week. Even people who don’t watch Euphoria are aware of the chaotic storylines of Season 2 just by scrolling through social media platforms. That’s how much the fans are buzzing about the HBO series on the internet.
In last week’s episode 7, The Theater and its Double, Ms. Lexi Howard played the part of a nerdy art student who ruined everyone’s weekend in Euphoria High with her Broadway-like high school play (Special mention to the newest #couplegoals in town, Cassie & Nate). The episode ended with Cassie looking through the window into the hall, and she is on the verge of unleashing mayhem.
The finale episode of Euphoria Season 2 is titled All My Life, My Heart Has Yearned For a Thing I Cannot Name which is a quote by French writer Andre Breton from his work Mad Love. Mad Love is a classic work of the surrealist movement, published in 1937, which celebrates love and lovers.

Euphoria Season 2 Episode 8 Plot:
Will Fez die in the Season 2 finale?
In the last episode of Euphoria, our sweet Fez is getting ready for Lexi’s play despite the danger hanging over his head. The #Fexi fans have been worried sick over the last few episodes, which have hinted at some danger for Ashtray and Fex. According to the promo, it’s obvious that Fez is in danger and he is on the floor, covered in blood. Whatever Custer has planned with the police to trap Fez and Ashtray may or may not be the reason for Fez’s upcoming danger. But all the clues hint towards Custer and Faye’s betrayal. The promo also features sounds of sirens, smoke, and police intervention.
What’s up with Cassie?
The after-effects of Lexi’s play will be a major part of the season finale. An outraged Cassie is on the verge of unleashing her “crazier” side after Nate told her to get out of his home following Lexi’s play. We are in the dark about the second-half of Lexi’s play. Will there be a second-half to Lexi’s play? We don’t know.
Cassie can be seen rushing to the stage of Lexi’s play after Nate leaves the hall. According to the promo, the physical brawl between Cassie, Lexi, and Maddy is definitely going to happen.
Nate and Cal
In the last episode, there was a very disturbing scene of Cal being sexual with his son Nate. Thankfully, it was a nightmare seen by Nate. But since that nightmare scene, fans are getting concerned about whether Nate has been a victim of sexual assault in childhood by his own father. Even Nate’s mother asked him how he went from a sweet boy to a darker child around 8 or 9 years old in an earlier episode. The season finale may finally give some answers about the turbulent relationship between Cal and Nate and how Nate became the disgusting person that he is right now.
