Our favorite psychopath assassin is officially back! The first episode of Killing Eve Season 4 premieres today!

The BBC show, Killing Eve, follows the cat and mouse journey of British intelligence investigator Eve (Sandra Oh), who is recruited by a secret division within MI6 to chase an international psychopath assassin, Villanelle (Jodie Comer).

We still haven’t recovered from how Season 3 ended. Remember how Eve admitted her feelings to Villanelle and the two of them tried to walk away from each other but couldn’t help but turn around and look into each other’s eyes again? The tower-bridge scene was emotional damage for the fans. Since the announcement of Season 4, the fans have been waiting to know what’s next in store for Eve and Villanelle.

The previous season of Killing Eve ended on an emotional note rather than being violent. “I killed two people last night after I tried really hard not to,” Villanelle says in the trailer for Season 4, which means she’s still the same, but hey, at least she’s trying. “Do you know the fable about the scorpion and the frog?” Eve asks Villanelle, then she explains to Villanelle at the end of the trailer, “They both die because the scorpion can’t change its nature,” That Eve is the frog and Villanelle is the scorpion, says a lot.

Season 4 is certainly more interesting than ever because now Eve and Villanelle know about each other’s obsession more than ever. In the promo for Season 4, there was also a bit of hope for their relationship, with Eve on a mobility scooter asking Villanelle, “Wanna ride?”. We can only wait and see what’s in store for their newly developed relationship.

We are still in the dark about what happened to M16 Russian Desk Head Carolyn Martens’s son, Kenny. He died in the very first episode of Season 3 as he fell down from a building. But it seems like a murder, and we don’t know who exactly killed Kenny, but all the clues point to The Twelve. Carolyn is expected to take her revenge on The Twelve for the death of her son and Eve can be seen in a new mission tasked by Carolyn.
