“The end arrives sooner than you think”
While Ruth Langmore is out there pretending to be Anna Delvey, Ozark fans have been asking about Ruth’s whereabouts since the part one finale of Ozark Season 4. Netflix finally ended the torture for Ozark fans and announced the release date for Ozark Season 4 Part 2. To be part of two different Emmy periods, Ozark Season 4 had to be split into two parts of 7 episodes each. Hanging episodes is the general rule for any series with a season that overlaps two distinct Emmy seasons.
The filming of Season 4 began in November 2020, lasted for almost a year, and the team wrapped up Season 4 in October 2021. The first episodes of Season 4 debuted on Netflix on January 21, 2022.
Here’s everything you need to know about Ozark Season 4 Part 2:
When will Ozark Season 4 Part 2 release?
Three days ago, Netflix announced the release date for Ozark Season 4 Part 2. The final seven episodes of Ozark are set to premiere on April 29, 2022, on the streaming platform.
Ozark Season 4 Part 2 Cast: Who all will return for Season 4 Part 2?
The Byrde family will return for Season 4 of Ozark with Jason Bateman as Marty Byrde and Laura Linney as Wendy Byrde. All the series regulars who survived Part 1 of the finale will return for Ozark Season 4 Part 2. Among them is Julia Garner as Ruth Langmore, Lisa Emery as Darlene Snell, Sofia Hublitz as Charlotte Byrde, Skylar Gaertner as Jonah Byrde, Veronica Falcón as Camila, Ali Stroker as Charles-Ann, Bruce Davison as Randall Schafer, and Adam Rothenberg’s private investigator character Mel Sattem, all of whom are expected to return for Ozark Season 4 Part 2.
The ones who aren’t most likely to return are couples Darlene Snell (Lisa Emery) and Wyatt Langmore (Charlie Tahan), as they were murdered in Season 4 Part 1.
Ozark Season 4 Part 2 Plot: What is it about?
Ozark, the drug cartel rollercoaster, will come to an end in Season 4 Part 2. Sanctified, the finale episode of Part 1, was explosive for the fans of the series and left them with questions that can only be answered by the upcoming episodes. In the finale, Darlene and Wyatt were murdered by Javi, Omar Navarro’s nephew. Season 4, Part 1, also heavily relied on Ruth. Ruth, Wyatt’s closest relative who was murdered by Javi, is seen driving away in her pickup truck in search of vengeance.
“My childhood traumas are not like yours. You see, I’m a cursed Langmore. Long inured to violence and death, And in the case of a Langmore, perhaps not soon enough” Julia Garner’s Ruth says in the promo released by Netflix for Season 4 Part 2.
She knows who killed Wyatt, and will she be successful in getting her revenge? Fans are already rooting for Ruth. Since the premiere of episode seven of part one, Ruth has been the talk on Twitter. The episode featured Ruth’s rampage triggered by Wyatt’s murder, and Julia Garner delivered a career-best performance in that one scene, even though it wasn’t her first meltdown in the series.
