The Breaking Bad prequel is all set to hit our television screens one last time. After almost two years, Better Call Saul is finally returning for its sixth and final season. The show is produced by Sony Pictures Television and directed by Bob Odenkirk, Vince Gilligan, Peter Gould, Thomas Schnauz, Michael McKean, Michel Slovis, and Chris McCaleb over the course of 5 seasons.
The show has been nominated 39 times for Emmy Awards, four-time for Golden Globe, three times for Critics’ Choice Awards, and won a Peabody Award in 2018.
Better Call Saul season 6 is possibly the last piece of the puzzle where we need to understand how Jimmy’s life ended up becoming the way it did. With both Lola and Gus wanting to kill Nacho, are things going to change for the better or worse?

What will Better Call Saul Season 6 be about?
Thus far in Season 5, we have seen a small attorney Jimmy McGill grow into an ambitious and greedy lawyer. Now known as Saul Goodman, he has started to face the repercussions of decisions on the professional front in his personal life.
Jimmy’s future as a manager at Cinnabon under the alias Gene Takavic has been shown in the series several times all these seasons. Now that we are in the final season of the show, it is expected that we will finally know how his life leads him to Omaha and Jimmy becomes Gene.
Kim Wexler, an honest lawyer has undergone a huge transformation and now craves money and power. Jimmy and Kim are married by the end of Season 5. We last see Kim trying to convince Jimmy to scheme a plan to ruin their previous boss, Howard Hamlin’s reputation, in order to win a reward. This will end up putting both of their lives at threat.
Better Call Saul Season 6 Release Date
Better Call Saul Season 6 will have a total of 13 episodes divided into two parts. The first half of Season 6 will premiere on April 18, 2022, at 9:00 pm ET on AMC. The second half is set to release on July 11, 2022.

Bob Odenkirk will as usual be leading the show as Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman/Gene Takavic. He will be followed by Rhea Seehorn who will be playing the role of his wife, Kim Wexler. Jonathan Banks will play Mike Ehrmantraut, Patrick Fabian will be seen as Howard Hamlin, Michael Mando as Nacho Varga, Giancarlo Esposito plays Gus/Gustavo Fring, and Tony Dalton will play Lalo Salamanca. Daniel Moncada and Luis Moncada will also be returning this season as Leonel and Marco Salamanca this season.
