Moving: Everything we know so far about the K-drama

2022 seems to be a great year for K-drama lovers. The sheer variety of dramas released this year is immaculate. From the fantasy medical drama, Ghost Doctor, to Juvenile Justice, a legal drama involving high school students to the zombie-thriller All of us are Dead, one is witnessing it all.

We are not even halfway through the year and our expectations are already high in the sky. The upcoming K-dramas also seem to be quite promising considering the cast, plot, and crew behind them. Staring from action-thriller to romantic-comedy to supernatural dramas, 2022 seems to have everything.

One such highly anticipated drama is Moving, a supernatural K-drama based on a webtoon of the same name by Kang Full.

Moving Release Date

Moving is scheduled to be premiered in 2022 on JTBC and streamed on Disney+, but no particular date has been announced yet. It is set to have a total of 20 episodes.

Moving Plot

Seemingly three ordinary high school students, Kim Bong Seok, Jang Hee Soo, and Lee Gang Hoon actually have special abilities inherited from their parents. 

Kim can fly, Lee has super humane athletic abilities and can recover quickly from minor to major injuries and Lee has insane speed. They all try to hide their powers from the world, and their parents are trying their best to protect them from being used.

Lee Jung Ha will be playing the role of Kim Bong Seok, the son of Lee Mi Hyeon. Lee is best known for his role in Nevertheless (2021), Run On (2021),  Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung (2019).

The talented Han Hyo Joo will play Lee Mi Hyeon, the one with superhuman senses. Han was last seen in the movie  The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure (2022). She also played the role of the leading lady, Yoon Sae Bom in the 2021 drama, Happiness. Han has been a part of several fan-favorite and critically acclaimed projects, including  Masquerade (2012), one of the highest-grossing Korean films of all time. 

Go Yoon Jung will be seen as Jang Hee Soo, the one with the same powers as her parents. Go is known for her roles in Law School (2021), The School Nurse Files (2020), Sweet Home (2020), and He Is Psychometric (2019).

Ryu Seung Ryong will play Jang Joo Won. Ryu is considered to be one of the most versatile supporting actors in the industry. He rose to fame with his role in the smash hit Miracle in Cell No. 7 (2013). 

Kim Do Hoon will play the role of Lee Kang Hoon. Kim has appeared in dramas like Hypnosis (2021) and Gate (2018).

Jo In Sung will play the role of  Kim Doo Shik, a veteran agent with flying abilities. Jo is best known for his leading roles in several dramas including What Happened in Bali (2004), Spring Day (2005), The Great Battle (2018), and Escape from Mogadishu (2021).

Lee Jae Man, a fast and powerful agent, will be played by Kim Sung Kyun. Lee made his screen debut in the 2012 film Nameless Gangster: Rules of the Time. He has since appeared in Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo (2016), Reply 1994 (2013), Reply 1988 (2015), and The Neighbor (2012).

Other cast members include Cha Tae Hyun as Jeon Gye Do, Ryoo Seung Bum as Frank, Kim Hee Won as Choi Il Hwan, Moon Sung Keun as Min Yong Jun, Kwak Sun Young as Hwang Ji Hee, Kim Shin Rok, Yeo Won Gyu, and Park Hee Soon as Kim Deok.
