Yes! The series was renewed for a fourth season way back on July 29, 2021, while season three was still in production. Paul Zbyszewski, the showrunner, said in an official statement, “I’m so grateful to everyone at TNT and Tomorrow Studios for letting me join the riveting world of Snowpiercer that Graeme and Aubrey have so beautifully crafted and built.”
He further added, “We have an exciting fourth season planned, and I can’t wait to be on set with such an incredible cast and crew as we continue to explore new worlds, create new mysteries, and develop character relationships.”
Snowpiercer Season 4 Release date
There’s no release date for Snowpiercer Season 4 as of now. However, the previous season has premiered in the first half of the year usually. So, we expect the fourth season to arrive in the first half of 2023.
Snowpiercer Season 4 Plot
In the finale of Season 3, we saw the 1,029-cars-long train split between passengers who wanted to stay with Melanie and those who decided to follow Andre for a new start in New Eden. In the final episode, there is a time jump and it takes us forward three months when Melanie finds a missile launch from an unknown point.
