TWICE’s social media handles on June 5th featured an intriguing image with the caption “You’re #KillinMeGood August 2023.” The picture, resembling a movie poster, captivated fans with its tone, composition, and typography. TWICE’s Stadium Tour Expands Global Presence

Despite already commencing their momentum-driven US tour in June, TWICE will hold solo concerts at stadium venues in Los Angeles on June 10 and New York on July 6. The group aims to showcase their distinction as “stadium artists” by selling out the iconic Los Angeles So-Fi Stadium and New York’s MetLife Stadium simultaneously. TWICE’s global performances, encompassing 35 shows in 22 locations, are elevating their stature and amplifying their impact on the international stage. Fans were pleasantly surprised when the group added four new shows to their Japan leg of the tour.

Chart Success and Record-Breaking Sales for TWICE

Following the release of their 12th mini album, “READY TO BE,” on March 10, TWICE secured the 195th spot on the Billboard 200 as of May 20, as announced by Billboard. This achievement marks the group’s ninth consecutive week on the chart since reaching the second position on March 25, surpassing their previous highest ranking. TWICE’s third full-length album, “Formula of Love: O+T = <3,” made its debut on the Billboard 200 chart in November 2021. The release of “BETWEEN 1&2” allowed the group to chart for eight consecutive weeks, a record at that time. Notably, “READY TO BE” shattered the record for the highest sales by a K-pop girl group, with 153,000 album and streaming total sales, surpassing the previous record of 100,000 copies sold by their 11th mini album.
